What is an aluminum pergola?
A pergola is an open frame of posts and beams with a roof you choose: lattice for filtered shade, decorative cut panels, or solid panels for full shade. A 4K Aluminum pergola has no standard sizes: its extruded posts and beams are mixed and matched, so each one is designed for its yard, and nearly every one gets site-specific engineering. It can attach to your house or stand on its own.
Choose the roof
- Lattice2- or 3-inch square lattice, or 1×4 and 1×6 slats, for filtered shade. Spans up to 20 ft without rafters.
- Decorative panelsLaser-cut Pergo-Soleil aluminum panels in patterns like Palm Jungle and Trifecta. They also work as privacy walls.
- SolidVEER or Twin Wall aluminum panels: watertight and Class A fire rated.
How a 4K pergola is built

- 2×4 up to 2×10; a 2×10 spans up to 33 ft between two 8-inch posts

- 4K rates select structures for winds up to 120 MPH, depending on the structure and its engineering
